Cost depends on the fault. Thermostat, relay, gasket and fan repairs sit at the lower end. Compressor replacement and sealed-system work are the most expensive refrigerator repairs, and we’ll always tell you when a fridge is close to the point where replacement makes better financial sense.

Usually not. That specific pattern more often points to a blocked air passage between compartments, a failed evaporator fan, or a defrost fault. Gas is frequently blamed and rarely the cause in this scenario - which is exactly why we test before quoting.
Most common repairs are finished within an hour at your home. Compressor replacement or sealed-system work takes longer and occasionally needs a second visit for parts.
We can, but you usually shouldn’t let us. An independent repair may void your remaining manufacturer warranty. If your fridge is still covered, go to the brand’s own service channel first - we’ll tell you this if you call us.
A sealed refrigerator system shouldn’t need topping up at all. If your fridge genuinely needs gas, there’s a leak, and refilling without repairing the leak just means you’ll be calling again in a few months. We locate and fix the leak.
